Function of the Feed Cone
The Feed Cone is a component responsible for collecting, guiding, and distributing material from the mixer discharge into the pelletizing chamber in a continuous and stable manner. A properly designed feed cone ensures that the material enters the pressing zone concentrically and is evenly distributed across the entire surface of the pellet ring die, thereby providing uniform pressing force, improving pellet quality, and maintaining stable operating capacity.
